Now for My Card:) I choose the Nursery Rhyme
I see the Moon:)

I see the moon
and the moon sees me
The moon sees the somebody I'd like to see.
God bless the moon
and God bless me
God bless the somebody I'd like to see!

I started with a 21/2 x 31/2 base using  Paper from Tim Holtz Retro Stack to get my Background Base
I then cut a 2 1/4 x 31/4 black base for my sky.
I used a circle punch to get my moon using a silver textured paper.Added stars to the background with a silver creative memories Pen.
I then cut strips to make my window panes.
I cut a circle base for my little girls head then quilled paper to make her curls and added a bow. Her body is just scraps cut into a body scape by hand:)
To make the curtains I used wire for the rod and wrapped lace around it. I then tired them back with bows.

I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it.

As this is my first Blog hop I hear it is fun to give away blog candy so I have blog candy to give away today:) Please leave a comment with an email to get a hold of you if you win and become a follower to be eligible.I will pick the winner on July 1st.

What A Day!!

Well It has been a very long day I have taken my littlest daughter up to her Girl Scout camp for the Week:( I will miss her bunches. It is her first year going by herself. Last year her older sister was in the same camp as her. I thought it would be a little tough for he but she was settle in with in an hour and ready for mom and dad to go. I was the one having the tough time. But I did well to hold back my tears until I was out of her sight then cried like a big baby in the car. I am very happy she made friends really quickly and was off and ready for adventure. As for me I will count down the days till she comes home.

I was unable to make a card to share today since I was on the road all day. But don't forget to come back tomorrow for our ATC Sisterhood Nursery rhyme Blog Hop:) The Hop will start at  atcsisterhood.blogspot.com tomorrow and run thru June 3oth. They are a group of very talented ladies involved in the hop.Until then Goodnight and Create Great ART!!

As I spent Tuesday trying to get unpacked and my house back in order I did not get a chance to get into my craft cave at all :( Today was a little more of the same thing plus I had some evening obligations. But I was able to get into my Craft Cave tonight. The Atc I created I designed for the trading post on one of the Cafe mom's groups I belong to. I decided to go with one of my favorite books this time:) My Card is themed off of Twilght:) I Inked the Base in to colors. Cut a 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 black base added a red triangle to it. Accented with silver to cover the split. Tore pages from one of my more used copies of the actual book to put on the card.  Add the Twilght word using pop dots. Hope you enjoy. Have a wonder day and create great ART!!

Fathers Day ATC:)

Since I was on a Father's day kick I decided to do the Father day ATC's Challenge for one of the groups I belong to on Cafe moms. Below it the card I came up with. It is a very simple design. I used my cuttle bug to emboss the inside base then inked the edge. I made the shirt using a tuturial on you tube for shirt origami:) I used three button shaped brads for the buttons. The letters to spell dad are basic stickers from Deja Views Grandparents.

Fathers Day Cards:)

As Father's day is fast approaching (like this weekend) I decided to pause and make my two needed Father's day cards. The first one is the one my girls will give to their dad and the second is the one I will be sending to mine:) I found these on a you tube tutorial and they were very easy to make. The first one I use the basic concept of making the shirt but made my own design for the card. But the second one I followed to the last detail. I hope you enjoy the cards. Any questions feel free to ask. Have a wonderful day and create great Art!!

I looked down and what do I see a shell shaped in a Heart. How amazing and special we thought of course. I had to take a picture first before I allowed my hubby to pick it up. But we now have a shell shape like a heart that we found together:)  Well I am eager to get crafting again. I hope everyone has had a wonderful and creative weekend:)

Acrylic Painted ATC

Happy Thursday Everyone:) Well the week is starting to come to an end and I am very happy with the progress I have made with my Blog. I am learning so much everyday. As you can see I have also decided to join my first Blog Hop Hosted By two Crazy Crafters. The Hop is on July 1st. The Link is one my side Panel. You should go check out their site they are a mother daughter crafting team with an abundance of talent between them.

I am sorry I did not get my ATC posted yesterday as promised I hurt my lower back and spent most the day resting in bed. Since I did not get one posted yesterday I have 2 for you today:)
Both I have painted using acrylic paints the first is done in my sketch book then cut out and mounted. The second one was done using the brand new acrylic ATC card stock paper I got in the other day that I showed in my video. The cards come exactly 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 but since I like to mount my ATC I trimmed it a little before starting. Of course the stock is very sturdy and does not need to be mounted at all. Well I hope everyone have a wonderful day. I am off to back for our weekend camping trip to Myrtle Beach.

Pocket ATC

Good morning everyone:) I sat at my table yesterday pondering what I wanted to make as a new challenge today. I decided I had yet to make a pocket ATC. I had seen several done before and have absolutely loved them. The one I chose to do I had seen done in a book. It was called the heart pocket ATC. Here is what I came up with.
I designed this as a Father's day ATC. But as I have very few Picts of my Hubby without me in the LOL:) The picture is of us together. The inside card is double sided. With the photo on one side and words on the other. I hope everyone has a wonderful day:)

Metal ATC

I hope everyone Had a great weekend:) I took yesterday off of my crafting and spent the day at the lake with my Family:) Just to come back even more inspired. I enjoy my quality to me with my Hubby and kids:)

This morning  I have created an ATC using Metal sheets, Ribbon and Brads:)
I put the metal sheeting thru my cuttlebug( which Ijust got and am in love with). I also punched out the word love with a punch I have and used Tim Holtz Alcohol inks to make it blotchy red. The metal sheeting is very thin and adhesive backed so I mounted it on balsa wood.I added red ribbon across the design ,I then wrapped twine around it and hot glued in place.  I glued the love in place and added the heart brad to finish of the design:) I hope you enjoy todays ATC!

Paperless ATC

One of my groups I belong to has a challenge going to create an ATC without using any Paper.  So the wheels start turning . What to use what to use. I had to many Ideas bouncing around in my head I was not sure where to begin. so I decided just to Jump right in and pick one of my ideas and run with it. I can only post one finished ATC in the group so I figure I would do a couple and post them here first. Then choose my best one to post in the group post:) Here is my first completed one:)

I made it out of Balsa wood and Metal. I used ink pads to add color to the wood and ink the edges of the wood. Then twisted metal wiring and used hematite beads and a lock and key trinket. Securing them with 2 Heart brads on the end. I  then added a metal phrase by Making Memories.

Here is my second one made also of Balsa wood. This time I also used ink dabbers to color the wood. I then stamped it with the image I wanted. I used Bic Mark-it's to  color in the area's I wanted colored.
Then embellished with stickles and some bling:)

The third card I created today was made completely out of foam. Yes I said Foam LOL:)
I used a black base and a Zebra pink and black inside. I used my punches to punch out Butterflies. Boy was that difficult on foam especially the Martha Stewart one. UGH!. I them Colored them using my bid mark it's. And embellished with Stickles and Glimmer Mist:) I am not sure How I feel about this one but I want to share all my work with the good and the not so good LOL :)

Vintage 4th of July ATC

I created this ATC for a Cafe Mom's group I am in. It's going in a Vintage 4th of July Swap:) I used a Tim Holtz distresser to distress the edges of my Base Card. Then inked them with my stamp pad.I ripped up a 12 x12 sheet of Paper by Paper studio called Patriotic words. Glue that down added brads inked the edges . Then used the stand and Salute cart to cut my die cuts. I inked the edges of the bell also. To create an over all Vintage look:)

June 3, 2011

Well I have finally done it I have started a Blog. I really didn't think I ever would. LOL! But my ever growing Interest in ATC's Has found me wanting a place to put my new found love of the craft plus this will be a place to display all my many other things I do. I guess I should start with telling you a little about me. I am a SAHM. I home school my 2 beautiful girls Honor and Liberty. They will be going to Public school next year so I will be finding even more time on my hands:(  I have always been very Artist. I have poured cleaned and painted my own ceramics since High school. I paint, draw and basically love everything that is artist. I will try anything at least once. I failed miserably at crochet and knitting that seems to be my sisters expert side of the field LOL!! I own and love my provocraft products to include my Cricut baby bug, expression, gypsy. and my new cuttlebug:)
Well I think that is enough about me for now. I look forward to crafting with everyone and posting my work and the occasional  How to video for those that would like to know how I did something:)
